IN PLAIN WORDS
I started photo shooting at a frequent rate somewhere around 2004 with a Minolta DiMAGE 7i. Back then I just as many others thought good pictures were about sharpness and megapixels and I tried to grabb as many of them as possible. Little did I know what really catches the attention of others.
Photography belongs to the field of fine arts, and just like sketches, designs and architecture are governed by rules of color, light, balance and symmetry, so do images and photograhps.
I've now shot photography for well over 10 years and the images I like the most are often taken with a simple camera. One of the many things you learn from shooting for so many years is that good images are the ones that catches the moment and the idea.
In my shots I pursue a signature style. I am not out to depict the reality but rather to promote a feeling and create an imagination. I do so by playing with colors, using rays of light and arranging lines within a composition that I find interesting and to some extent logical and for that I do a lot of lens shifting.
